The Cornwall Paper Company, at its recycling plant in Redruth, has been running the first Advanced Recycling Solutions' 'Trainer' Paper Shredder since 1991. It is in action all day every working day, and many more besides and 'doesn't give us any trouble at all' says Alan Mitchell, the Operations Manager, "up time is fantastic - this small machine just keeps going and going"

The 3,500 square metre facility is usually filled with papers, magazines and old telephone directories, mostly collected from the public via banks, but Cornwall Paper Company also carries out contract paper shredding. The tiny footprint Advanced Recycling Solutions Shredder is dwarfed by the paper mountain, but keeps on shredding away.

A bag unit is used to ensure post shredding bale compression, and the optional dust extractor is also installed.
